A small group of Ethereum developers had a rendezvous to discuss a previously undisclosed upgrade that could streamline the scaling of the blockchain. The solution will purportedly be called “Ethereum 1x,” but the developers are reluctant to share more details as it is still too early-stage, people familiar with the matter told CoinDesk.
